Happy Birthday Jason! I personally think the 30s are great and hope you enjoy them just as much!
Just so you know you are my favorite little brother. 😉
Matt wanted to wash the car this weekend and I offered for the boys and I to “help.” He knew we wouldn’t be a help, but was happy to have fun with the boys while getting something done.

Fathers’ day was also my dad’s birthday. We celebrated with cake and presents! Happy Birthday Dad!
I finally have removed the Fathers’ Day pictures from Matt’s camera. Yes I am aware that was almost a month ago, but I don’t like to touch his camera.
On Fathers’ Day we made waffles, went to my parents’ for lunch, and then napped! Here’s some pictures from our day.
Remember all the way back in October of 2008 when Matt excitedly bought some hot wheels? He couldn’t wait to play with them with our kids. At the time we were still anxiously awaiting a referral and would wait 4 more months.
Well almost 2 years later he finally broke out those hot wheels. The boys were super excited, but Ezra was beside himself with excitement. I wish we would have thought to get the camera out sooner. He just ran around screaming and squealing with delight.
Here is a video after he calmed down:

Noah was a teething, clingy boy so you just hear him start to whine at the end of the second video. Here is a pic of how he looked:
Last weekend we went to see my family in OKC. My grandparents had celebrated their 60th Anniversary and we were having a party to celebrate. Plus everyone needed to meet my little cuties!
The trip was a lot of fun but exhausting. The boys did not take to sleeping in pack and plays very well. The first plane ride wasn’t too bad, but the second one with overtired toddlers, was horrible. Funny story, as we were boarding the gate attendant says to Matt, “if they are screaming on the plane the flight attendants will come talk to you.” Matt’s response, “To do what kick us off the flight?”
Here are some of my favorite pictures. I put more here and here.
For Grandma’s Birthday we decided to give her a d-backs game with the boys. The boys had a lot of fun and we hardly saw any baseball. Ezra sat and watched the big screen, clapped, and danced with Grandma and Daddy. Noah on the other hand wanted to run.
Running and dragging Grandpa along with him.
We went up to the Sandlot, he ran around screaming (happily) and then kept trying to escape.
We then went back to our seats so we could have some dinner. We all ate like pigs and had way too many calories. We even let the boys try some of our lemonade.
Here’s me and Ez, he is staring at the big screen.

A Happy first mothers day to Stephanie (and all moms too). Feels odd to say ‘first’—because it feels like the boys have been with us for so much longer.
She had a good day, and ended it with a mom and sons photo shoot in the park.

This is what she looks like every day. Just as beautiful, and herding two wild boys. I’m a lucky daddy.

The last two just sum up the majority of our week, we are teething, emotional toddlers this week
The boys’ received a membership to Phoenix Children’s Museum for Christmas. (I had asked for memberships places since we have lots of toys already.) We waited until now to actual purchase, so the boys could enjoy it a little more and enjoy it they did. They had lots of fun and kept us very busy! It will be a great place to go and play once the weather is hot and we can no longer play outside for hours on end.
Thanks Nana and Papa!
This afternoon was rainy and the boys woke up from nap cranky. We needed something different to entertain them. We decided to set up their giraffe tent. We all had a great time and a lot of laughs. The best part, we ended up with two exhausted, happy boys at bed-time.
Today the boys had their first flag football game. Our church was having a game for moms and sons and Matt was volunteering and well I am a mom with sons, so we went and had fun. We went out for pizza afterward, which the boys loved.
