We took the boys up to Papa and Nama’s cabin yesterday to see some snow. There was a lot of it too, over a foot! It was soft and fluffy and not really good for making snowmen or snowballs, but it was still fun. Noah kept taking his mittens off so he could more easily grab the snow for snacking. They also just kept digging in the snow, I wish I would have thought of bringing their sand toys up, they would have had more fun with those. I think they enjoyed the snow and tolerated the cold okay. It was a fun way to start of the new year!

Noah And Ezra Awake from nap to find the tree they helped pick out earlier in the day, all lit up with pretty lights. I have no idea why they felt the need to blow out the lights like birthday candles, but they tried anyway.

Matt and I have never done a photo card to mail out. We usually just do an email (yes we are cheap and procrastinate so email is easy for us), but we know people love receiving pictures of the two little cuties that live in our house (Noah and Ezra if you are confused, sorry Matt it’s not you). When I heard about Shutterfly’s Holiday Card promotion I got excited! 50 free cards! I am so excited to print some this year, choosing a photo will be so hard. We have a lot of great photos of them. Of course, there are lots of ways to utilize all those photos. Photo books are our gift of choice for grandparents, but I also think the desk calendars would make a good gift.
We also love receiving pictures of all the little cuties in our life, so go here to receive your 50 free cards.
The Desert Botanical Gardens had a little pumpkin patch this weekend. Â Unfortunately to get to the pumpkin patch you had to do a hayride and the line was about an hour long. Â With three antsy toddlers we decided to skip that part. Â We had a nice time running around the garden and seeing some pumpkins on a truck.
Ezra ran so much!
What do you think is so much fun?
Water of course!
Peek-a-boo!
I need to hold this?
Almost got a shot of him looking at the camera and smiling.
Happy girl.
She reminds me so much of her daddy in this one.
Why do I have to sit here?
Three toddlers in one photo? Â No one is ever looking.
We tried on the boys’ costumes from last year and they still fit, but the boys absolutely do NOT like having something over their heads. This rules out lots of cute costumes for toddlers.
I would like to hear your ideas for Halloween Costumes for twin boys, with no masks or head pieces. Hats might be okay, but probably wouldn’t last long. We are currently thinking of Ketchup and Mustard, but would love to have more ideas.
Last weekend we went to see my family in OKC. My grandparents had celebrated their 60th Anniversary and we were having a party to celebrate. Plus everyone needed to meet my little cuties!
The trip was a lot of fun but exhausting. The boys did not take to sleeping in pack and plays very well. The first plane ride wasn’t too bad, but the second one with overtired toddlers, was horrible. Funny story, as we were boarding the gate attendant says to Matt, “if they are screaming on the plane the flight attendants will come talk to you.” Matt’s response, “To do what kick us off the flight?”
Here are some of my favorite pictures. I put more here and here.
We took the boys to their first parade this morning and they had a ton of fun. Â They loved the drums, thankfully there were plenty between marching bands and pipe and drum brigades. Â The dogs were a lot of fun too.
